This year marks Valley Supply and Equipment’s 35th anniversary, and while we realize history is important, we know that what we do today matters just as much. Providing our customers with an exceptional experience starts with our exceptional people. If you think we might be able to help you or your company with any type of equipment needs please don’t hesitate to contact any one of these extraordinary individuals. Whether it’s sales of new or used machines, rental, parts or service related, we’ve got an experienced team and they are all happy to help!
Dwayne won’t let us say exactly how long he’s been in the industry, but he will let us tell you he started out by greasing trucks back in high school. As a graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College who specialized in fuel injection systems, he is no stranger to any aspect of the machines we service. Dwayne helped open the Manassas Park, Virginia, VSE branch back in 1995 and is still helping us keep customers happy today. He believes in the saying “sales sells the first machine and service sells the rest” and enjoys the challenge of repairing even the most difficult problems to ensure your equipment stays up and running.
When Dwayne isn’t covered in grease in the VSE shop you can find him farming beef cattle and chickens, at church, or spending time with his children and grandchildren or his wife Donna.
JW first found himself in the construction industry as a parts puller for a major heavy equipment dealer back in 1979 so when we say this man is a seasoned veteran in the industry, we mean it. He’s been a valued member of the VSE Team since 2001 and is currently the Branch Manager of the Baltimore location. JW is extremely knowledgeable about all of the brands we carry – JCB, JLG, SkyTrak and LeeBoy just to name a few – and can help you out with anything from sales, rentals, parts, service, attachments…you name it.
In his free time, JW is extremely active in his church and enjoys chasing after his 4 grandchildren.
Tom, a nearly 35-year veteran of the Maryland construction industry, has done it all from picking and selling parts to managing private and governmental sales. He joined the VSE team in 2013 and is what we like to call the air traffic controller of our corporate headquarters in Hagerstown. Tom believes in making sure the entire team delivers first class customer service to everyone whether you’re buying a filter, a used JCB backhoe or a new LeeBoy paver.
In his spare time, you can find Tom spending quality time with his two children, four grandchildren and his wife Pam.
Having grown up with a father who owned a mechanical and electrical contracting business, Adam is no stranger to the construction industry. He’s held various positions throughout his career from purchasing to warehouse management, but quickly realized his passion was in sales. Adam values the opportunity to work directly with end users and learn about their individual equipment needs first hand. He enjoys the challenge of helping customers find the right machine for their specific application, no matter how difficult it may be!
When Adam isn’t on-site with a customer you can find him taking his Rottweiler, Wilma, for a walk or at a Ravens/Orioles game with his lovely wife Shannon.
Dan, a Maryland native and graduate of Calvert Hall College High School (Yeah Hall!), has been around heavy equipment all of his life considering he grew up with a father who owned a crane rental business. And you know how a family business works…that meant Dan worked in every aspect whether it was as a rigger, operator, estimator or in sales. He recently joined the VSE team in January of 2017 and he’s already grown to appreciate the “dirt” side of the business, especially working with JCB equipment. Dan has been amazed by level of training and factory support they provide to their dealer sales representatives and enjoys explaining the innovative feature of the product line to customers.
Like a true sales professional, Dan loves competition so it’s no surprise that in his down time you can find him at a Ravens or Orioles game or playing with the Baltimore Chesapeake Rugby Football Club.
Assigned Territory – Northern Virginia and D.C.
Outside of work, if he isn’t coaching baseball or soccer you can find Henry spending time with his wife Jodie and their 3 kids.
Mike joined the VSE team back in 2014 but has been helping customers with commercial grade equipment for nearly two decades. He believes in a no nonsense approach and strives to provide all of his customers a fair deal right from the start. Mike never runs from a challenge and welcomes the chance to work with customers who have extremely unique applications. In his spare time, you can typically find Mike at a Redskins game or out at Maryland National working on his second hole-in- one.
